I realized after putting the clutch on that cannot use this for my 1960s applications as it has a super heat switch which was introduced in either 1972 or 1973 model years. This piece is heavy. I bought this compressor for my 1968 Buick and installed a brand new clutch.

The clutch works perfectly. It is model number 5910793 which from a 1972 through 1974 Chevrolet Corvette, Camaro, or Nova. For sale is an original GM air conditioning AC compressor. I was told the compressor worked when removed and can see feel it has some strong compression turned by hand.

I do not know if mineral oil or ester is currently in it.
